How DECARBONATOR Works

The DECARBONATOR soaks equipment in a heated solution of water and detergent that is maintained at a constant temperature of 185° F.

HOW TO OPERATE the DECARBONATOR

STEP ONE

Fill DECARBONATOR with clean hot water to the -H2O- Line

STEP TWO

Plug DECARBONATOR into the electrical outlet and switch on

STEP THREE

Reset the MONTHLY TIMER

STEP FOUR

Add the CarbonZyme® and stir the solution

WATER AND CHEMICALS REMAIN FOR A MONTH

STEP FIVE

Load the DECARBONATOR with equipment such as pots, pans, hood filters and more. Use the lifting basket to lower the items into the appliance. Leave to soak.

STEP SIX

Remove the items and rinse off any carbon residue. Heavily carbonized equipment may need an additional soak.

SANITIZE

The solution remains in the appliance for a month at a time at a constant temperature of 185° F.

All items removed from the unit are fully sanitized and bacteria free. A light rinse is required before using items.

OPERATION

Operating instructions are clearly marked on the end cap labels in English, Spanish and French.

Fill the unit with fresh water to the -H2O- fill line. It is preferable to use hot water because the operating temperature will be reached quicker.

Add the appropriate number of boxes of CarbonZyme® into the water spreading evenly. Avoid splashing.

The unit has a lifting basket inside. Stir up the solution by slowly and gently raising and lowering the basket.

LOADING/UNLOADING

Items are loaded into the unit and left to soak for varying lengths of time. The time in the appliance will be determined by the amount of Carbon build up. A light rinse is required before using items. Use the lifting basket to immerse items into the unit. There are a number of slots in the basket side arm. Raise and lower to the appropriate slot to faciliate filling and emptying.

MONTHLY REFILL

At the end of the monthly cycle, the Refill Indicator will change from Green to Red. This indicates that the Monthly Refill of CarbonZyme® is due.

Switch unit off and unplug it. Let it cool down overnight.
Collect any Fats, Oils & Grease that appears on the surface and throw into the trash.

Remove any items that remain in the unit.

Drain Down Regular Floor Drain

Screw the Adaptor into the ball valve.
Connect the hose to the adaptor. Place the end of the hose into the floor drain.
Open the valve slowly.
When the solution has drained, remove the basket and clean in the sink.
Collect any sludge that accumulates in the trough at the bottom of the unit.
Rinse the inside of the unit with clean water until it is thoroughly clean.
Close the ball valve.
Replace the basket.
Fill unit with clean fresh water (preferably hot) to the -H2O- fill line.
Add the appropriate number of boxes of CarbonZyme® by spreading evenly.
Plug in unit and switch on!
